Il Sicano

Historically, the Sicani are considered the earliest inhabitants of Sicily, an ancient agricultural civilization that referred to the island as Sicania.

Olive oil made entirely from olives of the highly regarded Nocellara del Belice variety grown in the countryside of Partanna and Selinunte in the province of Trapani, Sicily.
It is cold-extracted in a modern two-phase continuous cycle plant. The result is a green oil with golden tints, rich in polyphenols.
The aroma has an intense fruitiness with hints of grass, artichoke and tomato leaves.
On the palate, this extra virgin olive oil is well-balanced with an harmonious spiciness and soft bitterness.
It is perfect with fresh cheeses, bread, salads, on meat or fish, vegetables and soups.

“Il Sicano” is produced exclusively from olives harvested at the Rocche della Sala estate.
